Information

Detailed info

How CANNASEN® Infect Protect works

As the lozenge dissolves, it covers the irritated mucous membranes with a protective film. The mucous membranes are soothed and protected from further external irritants. In addition, the natural defense function of the mucous membrane is supported and strengthened by the physical barrier, making it more difficult for additional bacteria and viruses to penetrate. Due to this physical mode of action, there is no formation of resistance.

General Information

Respiratory infections (colds)

A common cold is an acute upper respiratory tract infection, usually caused by a virus. Respiratory tract infections are one of the most common diseases. Colds (flu-like infection) in the form of inflammation of the mouth and throat often occur after exposure to cold. Typical symptoms are cough, runny nose, hoarseness and sore throat. Antibiotics are often powerless here as they only fight bacteria, with most pathogens being viruses.

Infection risks (pandemics)

Infections caused by newly emerging viruses, regardless of the seasons, have increased recently. These infections include fever and symptoms such as sore throat, cold, cough, muscle pain, joint pain, headache and diarrhea. Penetration of viruses and bacteria into the body If viruses and bacteria are able to bind to the body’s cells and multiply rapidly, the pathogens weaken the body’s resistance. The result is flu-like infections (colds) with accompanying symptoms such as runny nose, hoarseness and cough, as well as general infections that trigger fever and associated symptoms.
