CANNASEN® Psoriasis Gel has been developed to relieve itch, mitigate redness, prevent from dryness, and reduce the formation of new scales.
The gel has been pre-clinically proven to offer an effective treatment of psoriasis symptoms.
The psoriasis gel’s active ingredient is Dead Sea salt and contains excipients such as CBD, Aloe Vera extract, panthenol, and vitamins A and E. It has been formulated on the basis of extensive research on the usage of cannabidiol (CBD) in the treatment of psoriasis.
The gel’s efficacy and safety have been scientifically proven through cytotoxicity, sensitization, stability, irritation and in vitro tests, penetration study, and ongoing clinical trials.

How does the gel work?
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, where the immune system mistakenly attacks the skin cells, and where the skin cell life cycle is proliferated. Research indicates that CBD which is applied topically on the skin can support the correct functioning of the immune system, having potential in psoriasis treatment.
When massaged into the skin, Dead Sea salt, together with the excipients (CBD, Aloe Vera extract, panthenol, and vitamins A and E) relieves the itch, repairs, protects, supports moisture retention, and maintains an optimal healing environment for the skin.
Instructions
The gel comes in a practical tube with a pump. The gel can be used to both treat and prevent psoriasis symptoms.
- Children under the age of 12 should not use the gel (because no tests or trials have been performed on patients of this age group)
- Do not use the gel with other treatment products
- Can be used in combination with CANNASEN® PSOR+Atopic Lotion
- The gel can be used before exposure to direct sunlight, but it may deteriorate the effect of some of the ingredients.
How to use the gel
- The gel can be used several times a day on the affected body area
- Apply on clean and dry skin without open wounds and infections
- The gel can be used for up to 30 days in a row, followed by a break of 3-5 days before the treatment is resumed
- Within 1 hour after the gel has been massaged onto the skin, the remaining gel must be washed off the skin to remove the Dead Sea salt.
Ingredients
Cannabidiol (CBD)
CBD is a compound extracted from cannabis. It has antioxidant properties, meaning that it protects and repairs the skin. Research suggests that CBD has anti-itch and pain-relieving properties, making it beneficial in the treatment of auto-immune conditions such as psoriasis. Also, since CBD can help to re-establish correct immune system functioning, it can potentially prevent the immune system attack on the skin cells and bring back the correct skin cell lifecycle, thus preventing scale formation.
Dead Sea Salt
Retains moisture in the skin by attracting water molecules from the skin into salt molecules and creating a protective layer on top of the skin.
Aloe Barbadensis leaf extract
Has skin-nourishing, protective, and repairing properties, thus it can limit the number of flair-ups and soothe the lesions.
Panthenol (Provitamin B5)
Is a protective humectant, which supports wound healing and moisture retention.
Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A)
Helps to reduce scale formation and softens rough parts of the skin.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)
Has antioxidant properties and strengthens the skin.
Ethanol & Isopropyl
Are permeability agents, which help the active ingredients to penetrate the skin barrier.
